The welcoming Galaxy Hotel consists of three buildings and is built
right on the most beautiful beach of the Ionian Sea - Laganas - offering
you the most scenic view and the ideal base from which to explore the
island. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful gardens, leading to
the sandy beach and the crystal revitalizing sea.
The Galaxy hotel will be renovated for the season 2009. The hotel
is directly on the beach 500 metres from the centre of Laganas with its
restaurants and bars and just 5 kms from the airport and 7 kms from
Zante Town.
The Galaxy Hotel caters for
families and couples and is not suitable for young partygoers.
The spacious rooms offer direct dial phone, satellite TV and
individually remote controlled air-condition (at a small charge payable
locally), hair dryer and safe deposit box (again at a small charge
payable locally).
The
hotel offers 24 hour reception with exchange and secretarial services,
buffet breakfast and the restaurant offers Greek and International
Cuisine buffet style. There is an indoor cocktail bar, roof garden
with panoramic views of Laganas Bay (open June - September), lounge area
with satellite TV and Video and a Lounge with Billiards and darts.
At the
pool there is a snack bar/restaurant surrounded by well kept gardens and
the pool offers free sunbeds & umbrellas. There is a children's
pool and children's playground and an entertainment program is available
with both daytime and evening activities. There is table tennis
and watersports on the beach, and babysitting and hairdressing is
available on request.
